    BEST CURRY EVER!!!!!!!!!

    Don't be fooled by the size of this joint - it is a hole in the wall in a residential neighborhood.  No seats - only take out.  Of all the things I miss about living in Cambridge, this place is #1.

    I lived across the street from Kismet for a year.  I remember driving home and smelling the familiar scents of fresh Indian cooking.  It was cheap and delicious, so we would always order a feast. After a total curry binge, I sometimes wondered at the end of the night if I could ever face the smell of curry again.  By noon the next day I was ready for more.  Always.

    Kismet tandoori Cambridge:
    Extremely rude when list of ingredients was requested due to allergies. He begrudgingly then said yes, grabbed card payment, and, when curry came, only partial ingredients scribbled on curry lid covered in curry and not legible! Vinegary onion salad and potato curry in possibly a jar of sauce as another reviewer said...! When rang back and asked for complete list on paper as normal people would write on, he told me to not order! That's utter disrespect for me who spent over 40quid a month! He said order first next time and you'll get them! I said No, ingredients first, then he said don't order! How is it that he knows the new legislation and he's allowed to completely disregard it and get away with it? He should be fined! And made to reimburse me since he tricked me into ordering! Much better curries and pickles and naan bread elsewhere! For less money and better quality! Royal spice is the best in Cambridge! They don't scrimp n serve a potato/carrot curry! Theirs is packed with veg and very tasty and all fresh! Royal spice everyone is number 1!!! Try it you won't be disappointed! You'll realize kismet is not all that then!!!:-)

    Sainsbury's Indian take away is significantly better and cheaper. I think the sauce's here were from a can/jar and things were overly sweet.
